An Immersive Parlor for the Kingston Designer Showhouse

Located in Kingston, New York in Ulster County, this single-room installation was created for the 2023 Kingston Designer Showhouse. Selected to design the featured parlor, Nicole Fisher Interiors approached the space as both a creative statement and a showcase of full-service luxury interior design expertise within the Hudson Valley.

The brief: Jade Parlor.

The concept centered on atmosphere. Layered tonal greens, painterly finishes, and richly textured materials transformed the room into an immersive environment that felt expressive yet intimate. Custom furnishings, curated vintage accents, and intentional lighting were orchestrated to evoke the mood of a watercolor painting brought to life.

Though limited to one room, the project demonstrates the studio’s ability to create depth, cohesion, and narrative impact within a defined footprint. The result is a highly curated showhouse interior that reflects Nicole Fisher Interiors’ distinctive approach to luxury design in Kingston and the greater Hudson Valley region.
