The Story

Nicole Fisher is the founder and creative force behind Nicole Fisher Interior Design (formerly BNR Interiors), a full-service design firm known for crafting soulful, one-of-a-kind spaces that artfully blend the worlds of interiors, fashion and culture. 
 A New York native with early roots in the high-octane world of editorial fashion, Nicole’s eye for style was sharpened during her time as a stylist for international superstar Lady Gaga, working alongside fashion visionaries Nicola Formichetti and Brandon Maxwell on campaigns for Vanity Fair and V Magazine, music videos, and live performances like SNL. Often found hand-sewing costumes or pulling couture for photoshoots, Nicole found herself mastering the art of storytelling through even the smallest of bespoke details. It was there that she deepened her passion for creating a vision, and began experimenting with bringing the same cinematic sensibility she honed in fashion to interiors. 
 Nicole launched her eponymous interior design firm in 2015, with a focus on creating luxuriously livable spaces that blend rich textures, curated vintage pieces, custom elements, and statement layouts to create homes that are layered, personal, and unforgettable. Like the world of fashion, Nicole believes your home should be the ultimate styling platform – where high, low, custom and vintage live together in perfect harmony.
Before launching her firm, Nicole served as Lead Designer at luxury home platform One Kings Lane, designing for celebrity clients like Lucy Liu, Bobbi Brown, and overseeing the design of the brand’s celebrated retail spaces in Southampton and Connecticut.
Nicole’s work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Rue Magazine, Westchester Magazine, and she has been named a “Designer to Know” by Chairish. Today, Nicole works with clients nationwide to create distinctive, forever homes that reflect her signature mix of editorial polish and lived-in luxury.
She lives in the Hudson Valley with her husband Lee, their son Sebastian, and two dogs—Whiskey and Cosmo.
