THE PROCESS
01Design Creation is where we shape homes that feel lived in, layered, and deeply personal—spaces designed to develop patina over time rather than remain pristine. Every interior is entirely bespoke, grounded in the architecture and brought to life through globally sourced materials, custom details, and rigorous technical documentation that ensures the vision is built exactly as intended. Our team of experts ensure the vision is crafted with detail and care, presenting you an entirely custom home to call your own.
02Once your design is complete and construction begins, we shift into Design Stewardship — ongoing coordination that protects the design intent over time. Our team remains actively involved throughout construction, collaborating with contractors, reviewing submittals and RFIs, and ensuring that decisions in the field enhance, not compromise, the original design. This phase creates consistency and continuity through every evolving condition of a long-term build.
03Finally, our Procurement & Installation Oversight ensures that every curated piece, custom element, and hand-selected finish arrives, is handled, and is installed with the same care that went into its selection. We manage ordering, vendor communication, logistics, receiving, and coordination of installation so that your space comes together seamlessly. Together, these phases create an elevated, strategic, and wholly exceptional design experience that reflects who you are and how you live.

Nicole is a true visionary. The final product is exactly what Nicole presented on paper. Her mock-ups have to come to life. Our home is filled with all things beautiful that Nicole has sourced from around the world. We have reclaimed terracotta tile floors from France, bathroom fixtures from the UK, custom kitchen cabinetry, bespoke lighting fixtures, and the warmest, color infused walls, window treatments, rugs, and furnishings. Nicole even found the perfect spots for our collection of folk art paintings and objects! Everything looks and feels right at home.

Nicole is AMAZING! Nicole is the perfect combination – she has great style and vision but is also organized, efficient, and pays attention to detail...Every room has a wow factor to it – sometimes it’s the wallpaper, sometimes it’s a piece of furniture, often it’s the lighting fixtures, but regardless there is thought behind every detail. Our house is functional and comfortable for our family of five, while also looking amazing. We really enjoyed working with Nicole and her team and wholeheartedly recommend her for any project, big or small. After going through this process with Nicole, there is no one else I would use.

Wow. Where do I start? Maybe from ground zero as that was pretty much the state of the 1880 Hudson, NY house we bought: huge, great bones, but 4.5 frightening bathrooms, an impressively awful kitchen, and no real primary bedroom/bathroom...There isn't a room, a stone, a paint color, a mural (!), an appliance, and more that we don't wow over. They even figured out how to incorporate every favorite art piece and miscellaneous knick-knack of ours and make it look genius of us to have kept. Ever appreciative, grateful, and lucky to have found BNR.
