Formally a retail space on the main level, and two floors of residential above it. This building was converted to a single family residence.

This 1880s building had been a YMCA in the 50’s, converted to dual zone, and then converted to single family residential. We moved the kitchen from the third floor to the first floor, added a primary suite with his and her walk-ins and bathroom. All the moldings, stair rails and spindles were stripped down to its original wood. The existing mahogany detail was kept in tact and matched throughout. A classic home with a modern twist, kept all its original historic details to make this home one-of-a-kind.
